4 Stage Process
Sustain is a rigorous 4-stage process to ensure your projects comply with PAS 2035, the British Standards framework for energy saving and sustainability in domestic retrofits.
1. Strategy
We consult with you in detail to develop your scheme's retrofit strategy. We look at preliminary considerations such
as building pathology and occupants' comfort before engaging a coordinator, assessor, designer and evaluator.
2. Design and Specification
The retrofit designer references all asessment information, your project's ventilation strategy and fabric
first measures to produce designs.
3. Installation
We oversee your retrofit installation, ensuring all work is PAS 2030 compliant and/or MCS certified and check
all installers hold relevant qualifications, professional guarantees and insurance cover.
4. Post Installation
After your project's completion, we arrange monitoring and evaluation in line with PA 2035 clause 14 to check
the work meets its intended outcomes and objectives and to identify any issues of problems.
